INDICATIONS:

Kid’s Attention Plus is effective for increasing cognitive ability, helping attention, memory and focus, increasing concentration capacity, reducing mental fog and alleviating stress and fatigue. It can be helpful for those who have Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), which affects one’s ability to pay attention, stay still, and/or control their impulses.  It can also be helpful for those who feel stressed overwhelmed, and/or burnt out due to mental demands. This herbal formula, while not as strong as pharmaceutical options, may be enough help for many kids and adults for that matter, as many kids and adults are simply over medicated.

Ginkgo’s active constituents, ginkgolides and flavone glycoside-containing extracts, increase blood flow to the head, brain and body, which increases oxygen and glucose in the tissues. It also acts as a neural antioxidant and improves brain glucose metabolism.

Gotu Kola reduces adrenal corticosterone blood levels during stress. It has also shown promise in helping to balance thyroid hormones that if imbalanced, can make one fatigued and hypo-thyroidal in symptoms but not pathology yet.  It is high in flavonoids and studies show it helps in capillary fragility and strengthens vascular integrity in the brain and throughout the body. It is a cognitive stimulating herb for use in fatigue, confusion and general lethargy. It is helpful for those exhausted from emotional upheaval or excessive work habits.

Licorice and Rhodiola are adaptogenic herbs which increase the bodies’ ability to adapt to stress. They work as limbic (emotional) brain tonics and tonify the stress axis (hypothalamus, pituitary, adrenal axis). A study conducted on healthy foreign medical students undergoing a stressful exam period showed that Rhodiola enhanced physical fitness, improved neuro-motor test responses, reduced mental fatigue and improved general well being. Rhodiola is also thought to help in oxygen uptake.

Lobelia stimulates a parasympathetic or relaxation response transmission and decreases adrenaline levels. It reduces the fight or flight response and is helpful for reducing anxiety and increasing focus and attention. It does not sedate the body.

Kid’s Attention Plus is not diluted but is instead, a full strength extract suitable for adults as well.

SUGGESTED USE:

DOSAGE BY WEIGHT:

10-30 lb. Use 10-20 drops,

31-60 lb. Use 20-40 drops,

61-100 lb. Use 40-60 drops,

over 100 lb. Use 60-90 drops:

2-3 times per day or as needed in juice or water. Direct dosing in the mouth is OK.
